Prepared for flooring shopping: lay out the rooms and measure material square footage with the Carpet Calculator
INSTRUCTIONS:
Measure your carpeting area with tape from wall to wall, if there is doorway on the wall, measure to the middle of doorway; add 3" margin to each measurement;
Lay each room using Insert Room, Insert Hall, commands on the task bar of the Carpet Calculator, enter measured sizes as prompted;
Use Insert Freedraw to layout non-rectangular shaped rooms;
Click on Calculate Sq Ft to get required square footage;
Click on Request Diagram to have a floor diagram picture emailed to you.
